Metal Roofing Style & Colors

I am absolutely thrilled with my new roof and skylight installed by Balken Roofing! The roof pitch on my house is extremely steep, with an old 1970s acrylic dome skylight at the top. The crew was quick, efficient, made sure to protect the surrounding vegetation, and did an outstanding cleanup job afterwards. Rotted plywood was replaced, as well as matching tongue & groove for the porch which required a trip to a local lumber yard. A skilled carpenter worked alongside the skylight installer to replace the skylight and old exterior and interior trim. Thank you Chad Balken for your support, and all of the crew who spent a long hard day working at my house. My new skylight and roof are amazing!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We’ve used this company twice now, and both experiences have been truly 5-star from start to finish with Balken Roofing. The first time was a full roof replacement back in 2017, and the quality of their work, communication, and overall professionalism was outstanding. They completed the job on time, kept everything clean, and clearly take pride in their craftsmanship. The warranty they provided also gave us a lot of confidence long-term. More recently, we had them back for gutter installation and gutter guards on a guest house, and once again they exceeded expectations. They handled everything with the same level of detail, responsiveness, and professionalism we remembered from before. If you’re looking for a roofing contractor in Western North Carolina, including areas like Fairview, for roof replacement, roof repair, gutter installation, or gutter guards, I highly recommend them. It’s hard to find a roofing company this reliable and consistent over multiple projects and years. Highly recommend!

We had our garage & house fully re-roofed within 2 weeks of Steve coming out to take a look and price it out. The last homeowners did a diy and Balken came in and did a fantastic job! They had to replace about 11 sheets of plywood between the garage & house, plus a 2x4. The workers were professional and all in sync with one another. They worked quickly and efficiently in 30 degree weather. I really thought the price was going to be more than it was but it wasn't. You can't beat the 50 yr warranty with 25 yr labor warranty. Very happy with our new roofs.

Balken Roofing has been a staple in the Asheville area for decades and there is a clear reason why. As a professional in the industry, I consistently refer them because they provide my clients with quality service, products and pricing. They also offer great warranties that provide peace of mind and back up the integrity of their work. I highly recommend Balken Roofing.

I had an outstanding experience with Balken Roofing from start to finish. They did exactly what they promised—no surprises, no hidden fees, and no unexpected expenses. The communication was clear, the work was professional, and everything was handled exactly as outlined. While I won’t disparage other roofing companies, I can honestly say this experience stood out from others I’ve had in the past. I highly recommend Balken Roofing to anyone looking for dependable, straightforward, and high-quality service.

I cannot recommend Tyler and Balken Roofing highly enough. After several other roofing companies inspected our roof and were unable to identify the source of the problem, Tyler took the time to thoroughly investigate and found the issue that others had missed. Tyler was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He clearly explained what was causing the problem, temporarily fixed the issue and outlined the best course of action. His communication was excellent, and he was responsive to our questions and concerns. Thank you to the team at Balken Roofing- everyone we encountered demonstrated exceptional expertise, honesty, and customer service. It is refreshing to work with a company that truly cares about its customers and takes pride in getting the job done right. If you're looking for a trustworthy roofing company with outstanding service and attention to detail, I highly recommend Tyler and Balken Roofing.

As a Realtor, I know how important it is to have contractors you can trust, and Balken Roofing is one I confidently recommend. Their professionalism, communication, and quality of work are outstanding. They show up when they say they will, do excellent work, and truly care about their clients. Whether you need a repair or a full roof replacement, they're a company you can count on.

It is rare that I find a company that completely shocks me for how good they are. Balken is one of these. Steve came out to my house because my roof was leaking. He instantly knew the problem and how it should be addressed. He was FANTASTIC - knowledgeable, honest, and completely put my mind at ease. Furthermore, the communication with the office was great. It sadly seems to be a guessing game if anyone ever even shows up when they say they will. Balken, on the other hand, was in touch every step. I cannot recommend Steve or Balken enough based on my experience.

I’m so glad we chose Balken Roofing to repair and replace our roof! The crew left the area better than they found it and you can feel the effects of the new roof all throughout the house. Thank you Balken crew for your efficiency, your hard work and the peace of mind we have now that the work is done!
